On April 15, 2009 thousands of Americans gathered at over 800 locations across the nation to protest growing government power and spending. The media, in addition to scorning the participants as radicals, betrayed a growing fear of conservative citizens. The culture war begins anew.
For the U.S. President to bow, as only a subject of the Saudi King would bow, is an implicit repudiation of the importance of Western (especially American) cultural values. Just as the Saudi Arabians have the right to maintain their own culture, so do we.
