Like you, I have trouble taking anything that is said these days at face value. The best we can do is look at the available evidence on both sides and try to make an informed conclusion. I don't want to take the list at face value, but, since both sides are playing games with the truth, I have to weigh the CIA's evidence (if it can really be called such without more documents to back it up) against Pelosi & Co's. A big part of our problem is the two party establishment we have. We are forced to define ourselves so narrowly and offered so little choice. To compound the problem, the establishment has near total control of the educational system from kindergarten and up. It's hard to influence people's opinions when they have been so excellently conditioned to avoid independent thought and to ridicule viewpoints that are either "fringe" or on the "other" side of the two party fulcrum.

I trust the CIA as much as a trust a congressional person that takes campaign money from corporations that are part of the industrial complex. Like the fossil fuel industry, will do anything to protect their money interests versus our democracy that has been stolen. We have more important things to deal with than these stupid ideology battles of politics. The reason we need public financing to take back our country and do what is right versus who give me money to keep their office.
