We had close to 2500 people. We also had a food drive there as well and they took 7 U-haul trucks, and one car, full of cans and non-perishables to the local food bank. It was our way to "stick it" to the government by showing we don't need their help in our state! We can take care of our own. The local news station never mentioned this. They said we had around 200 people, and gave us a 30 second blurb. They instead focused on the smaller turn out at the Lancaster tea party. They totally missed the boat on what the protest was about. Virtually every local news station low balled the numbers (including mine) and using their own numbers the crowds were around 300k nationwide.
